I'm angry at the world for acting so slowly on Climate change. It is frustrating that politics and the press put constant breaks on the possibility of meaningful change. It is easy to feel helpless and fall into despair.
But the low Carbon future we used to talk about is actually possible, with today's technology and not a crazy amount of money, even in your home.
This site is a place for me to try out different ways of explaining how we cut the Carbon from our homes. Different stories, different comparisons, analogies, images, whatever it takes to help us understand that we are not always helpless victims but can be a part of a transformation that can spread quickly and quietly, community to community, before we suddenly realise we have done the impossible and changed the world
This is a UK based site, things might be different where you live. I've done my best to keep things factual but something will drift into opinion, numbers can be wrong, the world may turn out different to how we expect. Good luck!
